I’m Mikayah, the owner and founder of ManeJewce. ManeJewce is a homemade, holistic brand that was born after discovering the need for natural hair products for those with coarse, kinky hair. When I decided to begin growing my beard, I discovered that many of the products marketed toward melananted men and women left my hair feeling dry and thirsty. More importantly, the products being made for “us,” were not being made by “us.”
My personal beard growth journey taught me that hair growth goes beyond the products used on the hair itself. The body is like a machine that works from the inside out; and externally, the body will show us when there is something wrong internally. Through a combination of diet and lifestyle changes and the consistent use of my hair product line, I was able to achieve optimum beard and hair growth.
